BTS’s Jimin has set an impressive milestone on Spotify, particularly in the United States, with his solo title track “Who” from his second solo album MUSE surpassing 400 million streams. This achievement, reported by the world’s largest music platform Spotify, underscores Jimin’s global influence as a solo artist aside from his role in BTS. “Who,” released in July last year, is a mega-hit ballad that resonated deeply with fans worldwide.
The track made history on the Billboard Hot 100 chart by remaining for 33 weeks—the longest for any K-pop solo artist ever. It also consistently charts on the Global 200 and the Global Excl. US charts, holding a spot for 54 weeks as a testament to its lasting popularity. Moreover, “Who” was honored as the K-POP SONG OF THE YEAR at the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Awards and has recently been nominated for Best K-Pop song at the upcoming 2025 MTV Video Music Awards, set to take place in September at New York’s UBS Arena.
On a personal note, Jimin recently completed his mandatory military service, having enlisted as an active-duty soldier in December 2023 with the 5th Infantry Division of the Republic of Korea Army. After a dedicated 1.5 years of service, he was discharged in June 2025. Now, Jimin has reunited with BTS members and is actively working on new music for the group’s scheduled full comeback in spring 2026, currently preparing and producing music in the US. His journey highlights not only his dedication as an artist but also his commitment to his country and fans.
